This special dietary food has been developed in collaboration with veterinarians and has both a dissolving and preventive character. This dietary food is suitable for dissolving struvite bladder stones and preventing repeated struvite and calcium oxalate bladder stones. A wet food ensures an increased moisture intake, which will increase the urine volume. This reduces the concentration of crystal-forming minerals in the urine, which helps to keep the urinary tract healthy.

After opening, the food should be used within 2 days and kept in the refrigerator. It is best to serve this food at room temperature. No further preparation is required. Divide the daily portion over several small meals per day. The food can be offered as a main meal or as change to the regular feeding routine. Always provide fresh drinking water at room temperature in a permanently accessible place. No supplemental food recommended. NatureCare Diet Cat STRUVITE & Calciumoxalate is particularly suited for cats diagnosed with struvite stones. The particular nutritional purpose is to dissolve struvite stones and/or reducing the formation of calcium oxalate stones. Essential nutritional characteristics: urine acidifying properties, reduced protein content but of high quality, low levels of vitamin D, low calcium and magnesium content and urine alkalising properties. Recommended use: in order to dissolve struvite uroliths, 5 to 12 weeks. In order to reduce repetitive struvite uroliths and calcium oxalate urolithsformation, the recommended use is no more than 6 months. It is recommended to consult a veterinary before use. Contraindications: cats that are in gestation, lactation or growth, other forms of uroliths, hart and/or kidney disorders.
