After opening, the food should be used within 2 days and kept in the refrigerator. It is best to serve this food at room temperature. No further preparation is required. Divide the daily portion over several small meals per day. The food can be offered as a main meal or as change to the regular feeding routine. Always provide fresh drinking water at room temperature in a permanently accessible place. No supplemental food recommended. NatureCare Diet Cat RENAL SUPPORT is recommended for adult cats with chronic renal failure for renal support. Specific diet function: supports the renal function with chronic renal failure. Essential nutritional characteristics: low phosphorus and reduced protein, containing high quality proteins only. Not suitable for: gestation, lactation and growth, prolonged feeding without veterinary support. Recommended period of use: 6 months at maximum when used for the first time.
