For sprinting dogs SportCare Racing & Sprint is a pressed food for sprinting dogs that need to deliver top performances in activities of short duration. In general, dogs that sprint cover relatively short distances. Often times, less than a kilometer. These dogs do not need an increased fat content, as sprinting activities are almost entirely dependant on carbohydrates. Our pressed food is highly concentrated and thus smaller in its volume, which puts less stress on the stomach.

Always make sure your dog has access to fresh drinking water at room temperature. Spread the daily portion of ProCare SPORT-LIFE Excellent over at least two meals a day. Would you like to offer your dog an extra treat? Try Prins TotalCare or Prins NatureCare for one or more consecutive days. These are healthy and 100% natural meat-based meals that dogs love! Adding any other supplementary food is not recommended. Serving tip! Pressed kibble may turn into a powder-like grit when rubbed against each other. This grit contains the same nutrients as the kibble. Mix it with a dash of warm water to prepare a delicious doggy treat! Storage advice Store the food in a cool and dry place and close the package after use. Use a storage container that can be properly sealed and make sure to clean it thoroughly before opening a new package.

When the intensity and duration of the training increase, so will the energy requirement. The feeding guide is an indication only. Feeds may need to be adjusted to respond to the dog’s individual energy requirements.
Tip: Are you thinking of combining the dry food with a wet food, like canned meals? Split the daily portion of both foods into two equal parts. This way, you can be sure your dog is getting the right amount of nutrients. .
Switching from one pressed food to another Click this link for more information about the difference between pressed and extruded (expanded) food A. When you are switching from a different brand of pressed kibble to ours, you can mix the foods for a while until you have switched over. Mix an increasing amount of the new food into the old over a period of 7 days until you have switched completely. Occasionally switching to another food may result in slightly different feces. However, this is completely harmless. You could also opt for switching using frozen raw meat (see switching guideline section C). Switching from an extruded food to a pressed variety* Click this link for more information about the difference between pressed and extruded (expanded) food B. When you are switching your pet from extruded (expanded) kibble to one of Prins's pressed varieties, we recommend an instant changeover instead of a period of mixing. Occasionally switching to another food may result in slightly different feces. However, this is completely harmless. You could also opt for switching using frozen raw meat (see switching guideline section C). Pressed kibble is a condensed food with less volume than the extruded type. The recommended portions are therefore smaller, making this food easier on the stomach. C. Switching to a new type of kibble is also possible by using frozen raw meat. In this case, offer your dog a frozen raw meat meal such as Prins TotalCare Super Active Complete for one week. This will ensure an optimal recovery of the intestinal flora. After a week of feeding only raw meat you can switch to the new kibble instantly, without a mixing period. If your dog has never tried raw meat before, we recommend slighty cooking the meat for the first two days in order to give the digestive system some time to adjust. After two days you can serve the thawed meat at room temperature. Has your food never tried kibble before and would you like to switch from raw meat meals to pressed or extruded kibble? Then you can follow the switching guideline in section B (an instant changeover).
