VitalCare Veterinary Diet Weight Reduction & Diabetic can be given dry and no preparation is needed. Spread the daily portion of food over several small meals per day. For cats, a transition period when starting the diet is advised. For an efficient weight loss or ideal weight maintenance, the recommended daily energy intake should not be exceeded. Low level of mono- and disaccharides. Recommended period of use, for the reduction of excessive body weight: until target body weight is achieved and after if required to maintain target bodyweight, for the regulation of glucose supply (Diabetes mellitus): initially up to 6 months. It is recommended that advice from a veterinarian be sought before use and before extending the period of use. After extending the period of use, the food can be fed for life. Water should be available at all times.
