Which food is suitable for an overweight cat?

In order to responsibly reduce the weight of an overweight cat, Prins Petfoods, in cooperation with veterinarians, has developed a special veterinary diet:

Prins VitalCare Diet WEIGHT REDUCTION & Diabetic

The aim of this veterinary feed is to achieve and/or maintain a stable and healthy weight and to prevent diseases such as diabetes.

How do I switch to another feed?

For seven days, mix more and more of the new food with the old food until the old food has been completely replaced.

Note: sometimes the cat may have thinner stools or diarrhea due to the change of food. This is not serious and in most cases the stool return to normal within three days.
