Prins!

If we may give you, not entirely unbiased of course, another majestic tip: what about Prins? Our Prins foods were first known under the name Verkade, named after Prins founder Mr. Verkade. Short and sweet

Naming your dog or cat after a cartoon hero or popstar or giving it a crazy name like Ketchup, it's all possible. More and more often dogs and cats are also given 'normal' human names. Whether you choose Garfield or Harry, preferably choose a name that is short and powerful. Dog names and cat names with a maximum of two syllables appear to work best.

A fresh start

Some people choose to give a shelter or rehomed animal a new name. This can be useful if the dog or cat has an unpleasant past and, for example, was mistreated, so its old name may have negative connotations for it. With a new name, the animal gets a fresh start.

Say your pet's name in a cheerful voice and reward him with some treats as soon as he looks at you. Mmm! Do this three times and then stop, repeating the name exercise regularly Prins, come here!
