Would you like to make something tasty for your dog or cat at Christmas? With the help of Prins Train & Care and Play & Care you can make delicious Christmas cookies for your dog or cat. Preheat the oven to about 180 degrees, line a baking tray or grid with a piece of baking paper and take a mixing bowl and a spoon. Make sure all the ingredients are at room temperature. And keep your pets away from the oven for a while to prevent them from burning their nosy noses!
Needed
- 100 grams (self rising) baking flour
- 1 egg
- 2 generous tablespoons of Prins Train & Care for dogs or Play & Care for cats
- flour
- a little water
How to make the Christmas cookies for your dog or cat
Mix the flour with the egg and the salmon pate. If necessary, add one or more splashes of water, until you get a workable dough. Dust your work surface and the dough with a little flour, so that it’s less sticky, and form the dough with your hands and fingers into a flat slice about half an inch thick. Use the Christmas shapes to stick out of the dough. If the dough is very sticky and tacky, you can fill the molds with dough and then remove them. You can let the dough rest in cling film in the refrigerator for a while, or stiffen it in the freezer, so that it becomes firmer. Do you get chunks rather than Christmas molds? Don't worry: your pet will love them just as much, it’ll all be fine! Depending on their size and thickness, bake the cookies for about 20 minutes in the center of the oven until they are nicely golden brown and cooked.
